The Big Spring Update!

We’re excited to share progress from our new custom home project on Jenan Drive, where we’ve officially moved from groundwork to vertical build. It’s been a journey full of milestones, and the momentum on-site is picking up fast!

After a few initial delays and plenty of behind-the-scenes coordination, we’ve made it through some of the most critical early stages. A major early win was completing the new sewer line—no small feat considering the city coordination, inspections, and moving parts involved. With that checked off, we received final approval on our building permits, clearing the way to officially begin construction.

Breaking Ground and Building Up

Construction began in earnest in early April, starting with a visit from our surveyor, who marked the home’s footprint by setting the corner pins. From there, things moved quickly. Our concrete crew began digging the trenches for the foundation, preparing us for the first round of inspections.

By mid-April, the footings were ready for inspection—and passed without a hitch. That gave us the green light to form the stem walls, which were also completed and approved soon after. Each successful inspection was a small victory and helped maintain strong momentum on the site.

Next came the underground rough-in plumbing inspection, followed by our pre-pour slab inspection—both of which passed smoothly. All that hard work led to one of the most exciting moments so far: pouring the concrete pad. Completed over two days, this solid foundation now marks the literal and figurative base for what’s to come. Standing on it, you can almost envision the future rooms and living spaces that will soon take shape.

What Does the Future Hold?

With framing around the corner, we’re moving from blueprint to reality—and we’re thrilled to offer a peek into what this future home will offer.

Designed with comfort, functionality, and style in mind, the home features an open-concept layout that centers around a modern kitchen, flowing naturally into the living and dining areas. A full butler’s pantry (complete with a Miele coffee station) adds both practicality and a touch of luxury. Large windows will flood the interior with natural light, and high-end finishes throughout will bring warmth and elegance to every room.

The main home spans over 4,600 square feet and includes five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite, plus a game room with a spa-style bath and an additional powder room for guests. A 4-car garage offers plenty of space for vehicles, storage, or even a home gym.

A detached 900+ square foot casita complements the main house with its own private entrance, full kitchen with walk-in pantry, full bath, walk-in closet, washer and dryer, and a one-car garage. A sliding glass door offers beautiful views toward the pool, making it an ideal guest suite, office, or personal retreat.

This home was designed to support easy, elegant living both indoors and out. In addition to its smart layout and thoughtful features, we’re prioritizing energy efficiency and durability—incorporating top-tier insulation, quality materials, and energy-efficient appliances throughout.

The outdoor space is just as considered: plans include a resort-style pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, and landscaped grounds designed for connection and comfort. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying a morning coffee on the patio, or hosting an evening get-together, this home is designed to support your lifestyle.

All of this sits on a generous 0.81-acre lot in Scottsdale’s highly sought-after Cactus Corridor, just a block from Cocopah Middle School. It’s a rare combination of space, style, and location.

From early groundwork to where we are now, it’s been a rewarding journey—and we’re just getting started. We can’t wait to share more as the build progresses!

Let’s Build Together

If you’ve been following our journey or thinking about connecting with us, now’s a great time. We’ve been fortunate to pay over $830,000 in interest to our private lenders across our last five new builds—and we’re always looking to grow those relationships.

If you’re curious about how to earn double-digit returns backed by real estate, we’d love to chat. Our private lending partners help make projects like this possible, and in return, they enjoy truly passive, reliable income—what we like to call mailbox money.

Let’s build success together—reach out anytime to learn more about becoming part of our next project.
