Falling Into Form: Interior Progress
Fine Details, Big Impact
Outside, the details are coming together beautifully. Mark has been busy building the brows over the garage and far front window, which bring balance to the façade while leaving portions of cedar exposed for character and warmth.
Crafting a Timeless Exterior
In mid-September, stonework began at the front entry and garage. Once finished with a mortar wash, it will bring rich texture and an elevated appearance to the exterior. This same stone will also carry indoors, creating a seamless connection between outside and in, while adding a timeless sense of character to the home.
Outdoor Oasis in the Making
The pool has been fully excavated, and preparations are underway for shotcrete — the next exciting step in bringing this outdoor retreat to life!
✨ What’s Next?✨
Looking ahead, the next phase includes shotcrete for the pool and spa, finishing the exterior stone and stucco, installing the roof and exterior doors, and moving forward inside with drywall completion, doors and trim, painting, and tile. The front entry will become an especially striking feature, with a grand stone façade complemented by a cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling, making a warm and welcoming first impression.
