Summer has been a busy one at Craft! From breaking ground at Aster, navigating the finer points of City review at Larkspur, and seeing some exciting movement at Jenan, there’s been plenty to keep us moving forward. Here’s the latest!
Aster
Aster is officially out of the ground and on its way up! Our pad is complete and certified, and we’ve received our building permits from the City. We’ve been busy digging footings and building out stem walls, and we’re looking forward to pouring the concrete floor very soon.
Windows have been ordered, and our renderings are nearing completion. The foundation is being laid, and the vision for Aster is finally beginning to take root.

Larkspur
Building two nearly identical homes simultaneously has given us a front-row seat to one of the great mysteries of construction: how can two nearly identical projects have such different review experiences? 😂
Apparently, no detail is too small for the City! Larkspur has now gone through four rounds of City review, covering everything from a laundry vent to a 1% discrepancy with the HVAC calculations. We’ll happily cross every T and dot every I to get that final approval, but boy, will we be glad when this part is over! 😉
The good news? The pad is complete and certified, and our crew is ready to start digging the foundation. We’re just waiting on the City’s green light, which we’re expecting any day now!
Jenan
We’re seeing some encouraging momentum at Jenan! After an unexpected downturn in the spring market, the last few weeks have brought a significant uptick in activity, with more private showings and strong traffic at our open houses.
In fact, three visitors at last Sunday’s open house had already toured Jenan twice before. That’s the kind of repeat interest we like to see!
We currently have a few offers on the table and are actively negotiating. Fingers crossed, we’ll soon be announcing a SOLD sign at Jenan! 🎉

👀 Who’s the New Guy?
Every construction project needs a little detective work now and then. Following some windy weather, one of our jobsite cameras went missing. Our newest team member, Anthony Diaz, did some investigating and discovered it had taken an unexpected trip to the neighbor’s yard! 😂
Anthony recently joined the Craft team as our Project Coordinator and has already jumped right in. When he’s not tracking down runaway cameras and literally playing a little block-wall leap frog, he’s helping coordinate the many moving pieces that keep our projects on track. We’re excited to have him on the team!
